When my parents sat me down to ask me if I was passionate enough about farming to take over the family farm at the age of 19 I politely declined. If the cows only had to be milked 10 times a week instead of 14 my decision may have been different! I was the last child of 6 to decide that farming was not my path, and so my parents chose to sell the farm. From witnessing how that process evolved I became intrigued with the process of buying and selling property and as these things go I started on my journey as an estate agent.

A 13 year career with a global financial crash in the middle and a brief period driving a digger in the Iron Ore & Gold mines of Western Australia has seen me Sell & Rent properties all over, From an apartment over looking Barley Cove beach to a chip shop in Crumlin, to a 2-bed cottage where grass grows in the middle of the road to a 40th floor apartment in Perth Australia – I’ve taken pride in each and every one.
After returning from Oz I spent some time in my native West Cork. But, when Jarlath afforded me the opportunity to come back to the capital I jumped at the chance. A friendship forged over many years in the industry and keeping a close eye on what Jarlath had begun in Martin and Moran I knew I wanted to be part of it. Since starting my employment here in the Autumn of 2017 my feet have barely touched the ground but all in a positive way. We have a friendly working environment and each of us has a committed focus to going the extra mile for our clients.
In my spare time I can be found at a sporting event in any corner of the country. In August I like to escape to the Rose of Tralee festival, where I was lucky enough to don a tux as a rose escort in 2015. I also love to give back and have done MC for many charity events as well as picking up my gavel for a good old charity auction.
